Hey- I didn't know where to post this. But I tried to start a thread and didn't get it done properly over in family- it's the thread called Butting in. You can delete it if you want and I'll try again later after I have overcome my keyboard impairedness. (It was going to be a thread on telling a parent what their kid is up to- how much is too much and when is it important information or just being a judgemental nosy nuiance).

"Come on, you fa-la-la mimosa-drinkin' motherfuckers."
Dumbass me, I managed to misspell "gnaw" in the thread I created in TV Talk called "Shows you'd rather gnaw your arm off than watch."
Can this be corrected?

If you really want the thread to die, give it to ducky.

I just tried to start a new thread ("Thinking Inside The Box") and made it hosted, when it doesn't need to be. I can start a non-hosted thread, but I wanted to make sure the hosted one wasn't being created in the meantime.
Sorry about that.

Hey, Lime and Cal--
I need to do some big clean-up in Tirades, but after a certain point in the thread, I longer get the "delete" option under posts. Can you help?

Weird. You get delete at the beginning, but not at the end?

should the posts about Wellstone be moved from the mid-year elections thread to David's new thread specifically on Wellstone?

I remember a time, back in the late 90s, when I thought nonsense like this mattered somewhat more than I do now. Now I see well-educated people yammering about the birth control choices of their daughters, or gay marriage, and I think they are morons.
Yes, that makes sense. I'll do it.

Whoops. I forgot to subscribe to this thread, which explains why I never saw the answer.
Yep, Lime, that's about it. I'll try and look back to see about where I stop getting the "delete" option.

Okay, I was wrong. I have no deletion capabilities, except for my own posts.

Hey, I posted in Divorce Laws and Policy and I don't think it reactivated. Can you take a look?

I guess there must have been a time-lag. Yup, I see it too, now.

Oh, I fixed it. Every once in a while a thread doesn't reactivate, and I have no idea why.

Hi guys - there's a post in Diet & Nutrition that looks like an advertisement to me. This doesn't seem to fit in w/ community standards, does it?
