Astounding! He was able to strut about just like a normal cat. I do have to wonder if he can leap.
I was fixing a ham and cheese sandwich for Jim's lunch this morning. Doc, who is crazy about all deli meats, jumped up and asked for some ham. I gave him a little scrap, and put him down on the floor. Seconds later, he jumped up on the counter again, only it wasn't a good jump, and he fell off. Unfortunately he managed to bring down the sugar bowl with him.

Zuri was attacked by a pit bull (fucking neighbors, at least we know he's had his rabies shots) and is recuperating from bites on her back. They had to shave her to see the wounds, but the vet chose not to stitch. He said she should heal well unstitched, with antibiotics. Her kittens are very solicitous of her.

They do that. It's cute when they're small and their claws are relatively little and soft, but it's a pain when they get older. Our cats have not realized that there is flesh under denim.

I wanted the ORNG KTY of that bunch. It made me really think about getting a kitten/adolescent cat to keep Gator company when I have to be out of town or something. I can take the dog when I go to my parents' or somewhere like that. Gator needs a friend his size, but my luck he would just resent me for it. ha.
