"North Korea has just launched another missile. Does this guy have anything better to do with his life?"--President Trump (tweeting)

That's a tee-shirt business in the making--either individually or as one giant imprint.

Honey, if any woman thought a gorgeous guy was going to rescue her, romance novels wouldn't be forty percent of the publishing industry.

*applause*

If you wish to bake an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe.

Very impressive!

I thought this was funny and totally something I would have done as a kid if printing were actually available (I'm old)

I remember a time, back in the late 90s, when I thought nonsense like this mattered somewhat more than I do now. Now I see well-educated people yammering about the birth control choices of their daughters, or gay marriage, and I think they are morons.

How Democratic is your name?

CurbSide -- Thursday, February 27, 2014 -- 07:36:03 PM -- 16471 of 16483
I have cheese touch.

Interesting. It says I'm more likely to have a gun in my house than go to church weekly.

Me, too.

Oy.

well, there 276 other registered mes in the country. 145 of me are likely to own a gun, 77 of me are likely to attend church regularly, and 143 if me are likely to be college grads.

Oy.

I myself have a quarrelsome and disputatious nature.

As the 12th most common first name, I suspect that it tells them...not a hell of a lot.

What will it profit a man to gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

It's fun to put in ethnic, religious, class and president identified names and guess what the proportions will be. I wouldn't have guessed 70% Democrat for Samson. However, it's not surprising that Latrina is nearly 90% Dem. Ike is 62% Dem, Dwight only 54%

Oh, for crying out loud.

Huh, Elizabeth is the 19th most common registered voter name. That surprises me a bit.

I am likely to have a gun and to have gone to college. I am less likely to go to church every week. I am likely to vote Democrat.

I will miss her immeasurably.

I'm surprised that there are 223 registered voters with my name.

"New Orleans, she smells like summer rain, sweet olive and coffee." -Chris Rose

I'm slightly more likely to vote Dem.

I'm also very likely to own a gun (nope, but my husband does) and have a college education ( and then some.)

Much less likely to go to church weekly (it's true, we don't make it every single week.)

When you die, if I know about it, Iím going to make sure that there is lots of catnip mixed in the soil above you so for a long time cats come and rub your grave site.
