Two Things

Lorelei -- Monday, January 26, 2004 -- 02:09:00 PM

Origins and examples can be found in this Agoraphilia post.

The link in the header has great examples. For example:

Okay, here are the Two Things about economics. One: Incentives matter. Two: There’s no such thing as a free lunch.

I've been trying to come up with Two Things for computer science, but it's not going so well. My suggestion for medicine:

One: Germ theory. Hygiene prevents disease.
Two: Placebo effect. If you think it'll work, it actually might.
